This painting is part of my Atlanta series. When I first moved to the Atlanta area, I made it a point to tour the many spots of interest. The front lawn of the Botanical Gardens just called for the placement of a romantic couple and I chose an African American couple dressed in the old southern attire. Behind them is the glass orchid house and canopy walk.
