This painting is part of my Atlanta series. When I first moved to the Atlanta area, I made it a point to tour the many spots of interest. I wanted to capture the skyline of Atlanta in a different way and chose this seated model on the roof of an imaginary building to accomplish this goal. I later found out that there actually is such a view from a building  and the building is actually called "the Muse". I had met an artist that had an apartment in that building.
