Devil mask? No way! This ancient mask is from the Bobo Fang in Mali. Masks from around the world have been an interest to Marcella Muhammad for many years now and this is one of her first, from Sierra Leon in celebration of a hunt for wild game. This mask has been abstracted in the signature style of Plastic Space and is a study of composition, color and cultural elements.
