This is my interpretation of the message of colonization and it's gross negative effects in America and Africa. In the background are rock drawings from each continent showing a knowledge of their place on this earth. Note the blanket on the shoulder of the Native American which represents the smallpox contaminated blankets the white people with insidious intent used to kill the Native American men, women and children to take their land. The African side represents the many black men, women, and children taken from their homeland and enslaved, creating a legacy of dysfunction, PSTD and no real knowledge of self.  Both groups of people still suffer the aftermath of injustice by this form of colonization today.
