Original - Mixed Media on Arches Watercolor paper

This was a plant that my mother wanted to plant in our garden. It bloomed a year after planting and the blooms were beautiful. The next year, something got on it and it wilted and died. Never found out what killed it. I am glad I captured this floral arrangement before it was gone. I used acrylic, watercolor, and ink on arches watercolor paper to create this effect. Then tore the edges to give it a raw feel. It looks beautiful when mounted and framed in a much larger frame.
