I chose my signature style of Plastic Space to incorporate the elements of the diversity of the arts. Music, sculpture, wood carving, visual art, architecture, hair styling, beading, textiles and landscaping are represented in this oil. It was a challenge to blend them together so there is a balance of motion and maintain interest. It was a challenge to keep the eye moving around the canvas and not be locked into the center. I managed to attain this goal through the use of color, and the direction of light and shadow to create a spiral effect for the eye to travel over the canvas..
