African Queen Muse

The African Queen Muse is sculpted with a gentile yet firm face befitting a "Wakonda" queen.  She proudly wears the Pan African colors of green, gold and red.

She is one in the series, "Muses of the African Diaspora," inspired by the beautiful, strong faces of women of African ancestry throughout the world.  These women are the back bone of our communities, managing families, working, running businesses, defending, educating, creating, enriching and governing communities, families and countries.
